After hearing barry (Roy) sing and talking to him after the show which was fantastic I might had. I feel that Roy Orbison will never be forgotten as long as Barry keeps his good work going. I was a bit dissapointed their weren't any photos to purchase.I would like to put one above Larry Branson as he hadn't a patch on you Barry.

I drove to Corby in Northants last night and watched a brilliant show. Always a beatles fan and a Roy Orbison fan but later became a Travellin' Wilburys fan...and this show had it all, great. Linda

BOB BROLLY- BBC RADIO “Wasn't that great”
THE STAGE “TRUE INDENTIK BRILLIANCE” BRILLIANT
Jim Strachan from Aberdeen Journal
"Just when we thought it could not get better, Barry Steele appeared in an uncanny reincarnation of Roy Orbison.
The likeness was uncanny - almost scary - both in sight and sound as he did a brilliant job of the Big O's best. Only The Lonely and In Dreams were superb”
Sunderland empire theatre stated “Barry Steele (Roy Orbison) was next on stage in a wonderful real-life performance. As he belted out hits Only the Lonely and Crying the audience clapped and sang along, at times he sounded more like Orbison than the man himself!”
VICTORIA HALL HANLEY STATED = The first half was fast in pace as a fantastic Roy Orbison, Barry Steele, performed short sets which included Orbison's impressive Crying.

ANDEW BOWMAN BBC DIRECTOR _ Thank you so much for appearing in BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's Flashback to the 1960's event for BBC Children In Need. We made nearly £5000 on the day and the event - with your help - sounded fantastic on the radio and looked great on television
Stuart Laundry BERWICK ADVERTISER
So what would we make of Barry Steele, who strolled to the front of the stage wearing the Big O's trademark dark glasses but then he sang and from the opening verse of Only the Lonely to the last strains of Pretty Woman, he held his audience spellbound. Sit back; close your eyes and it could almost have been the real thing, which, of course, is the point of these evenings. In little over an hour, an appreciative audience was treated to a good 20 greatest hits. We were transported back half a century or more for the likes of Blue Bayou, Dream Baby and Working for the Man. The set also include a rollicking version of Claudette, which many think of as an Every Brothers song, but was written by Orbison for his first wife, and plus a lively Mean Woman Blues.
And then we were brought right up to the time of Orbison's untimely death in the late 1980s, just when he was enjoying huge popularity for a second time.
She's a Mystery Girl and You Got It was highlights and Crying, opening the encore, were note perfect.
Hi Barry, Just watching and listening to the video clip on your website.

REVIEW BIRMINGHAM 21.03.2009
BARRY STEELE AS ROY ORBISON WAS NOT TO BE MISSED, NOT ONLY DOES HE SING LIKE HIM, HE ALSO LOOKS LIKE HIM, HE WAS SUPERB!!!
My two favorite performers were Elvis and Roy Orbison. You are hands down the best I have ever heard. My question is, do you plan on touring the United States. I live in the State of Indiana, close to Chicago, Illinois. If you do have plans on coming to the states, I would be honored to see you. I have listened to you on the internet and you sound just like Roy. Please let me know....

Saw Barry last night at Warners Lakeside, brought the house down. Great act well done Barry
comment posted on you tube today
Saw Barry for the first time at Warners Nidd Hall a couple of years back. Thought he was brilliant. Just returned from Lakeside on Hayling Island where we went especially to see him again. Travelling from Durham but well worth it and Barry was so friendly after the show when he spent ages talking to his fans. Well done Barry. Everyone I spoke to after the show thought you were marvellous.

Hi Barry, I was lucky enough to catch your set in East Grinstead the other night. I didn't actually know you were on, I thought it was just a Buddy Holly show but I've got to say that I thought you were terrific. You absolutely nailed the Roy Orbison voice. Well done and thanks.

Hi Lynne and Barry, came to your show at The Wyvern Swindon,22nd Jan. Thanks for a great show,we all enjoyed it,great music, lovely company, you all work so hard. Its nearly April 23rd and I like many others still miss Roy coming to England. I was lucky enough to see him in concert 7 times.Even my brother-in-law was impressed with your show, the band were brilliant too, thanks again (must not forget Marc just ace)Keep up the good work see you again we hope .
Saw roy at the colsten hall bristol in 86 or may have been 84.Have seen a fair few tribute acts since then Larry branson was the best. That is until i was at the wyvern theatre on sat the 22nd of jan 2011.you were amazing.Had my 14 year old son with me and he was tapping his feet and clapping his hands just like everyone else.keep up the excellent work and many thanks for the pic at end of the show. Will be on the look out for your show.
Roy Kelton Orbison is very much alive and well in the form of Barry Steele and tonight the man put on a truly spectacular show but he did however have a little help from his friends mainly four mop topped lads from Liverpool that you may have heard of called The Beatles.
The Complete Beatles quickly warmed up the audience for Roy/Barry with a feisty set of good old fashioned rock and roll songs that had the audience bouncing about in their seats and just as i expected the bands banter had me giggling away like a naughty school child as they mocked each other as well as the occasional heckler.
The band finished on Twist And Shout which followed with a bow before exiting the stage in time for the big 'O' to take his place centre stage.
Barry Steele did a grand job not only at sounding like Roy but also he loked the part dressed head to toe in black complete with trademark dark sunglasses and you could plainly see that the audience was totally transfixed right from the start.
I was amazed at the pure quality of the show and the huge screen behind the band kept showing original footage of Roy which added to the atmosphere.
The set consisted of a wide variation of songs and even had a couple of tracks by supergroup The Travelling Wilburys thrown in but it was the realisation of just how complex some of the songs are that had me thinking that Mr.Orbison really was one of musics leading figures.
I was happy when my friend and local superstar Sammy King got a mention for writing the song Penny Arcade which recieved a huge cheer from the crowd.
I found Barry to be rather witty despite him having to stay in character of a man who said very little in real life whilst on stage.
The band finished on Pretty Woman a song that probably has the most recognisable drum beat ever as well as a great guitar riff.

Just wanted to pass on some feedback from attending Barry's (Roy's)concert last night at Cromer, never before have I had such a fantastic
evening, attended many tribute evenings over the past few years but last night was truely awesome, it was so entertaining, not just the Roy
Orbison songs but how the whole show was put together including the additional entertainment. I just had to buy the CD {75} after the show
and playing it now as I compile this e-mail. Please, please, please try to come to Peterborough or Kings Lynn if possible but am going to
make sure we attend Skegness (we live in Spalding, Lincolnshire) to have another excellent evening. Many people I spoke to were buzzing
after the evening, people were dancing at the back of the room and I had to stand up and dance during the last song (contained myself before
this as on row D and wanted to consider the people behind me) as the room was electric - truely a real-life experience.
